George M. Grady

MSG (RET) George M. Grady, 71, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Grady was retired from the United States Army and Civil Service, Fort Knox, KY where he worked in Range Division. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #10281, Vine Grove, KY. George was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his father, Murray Grady; two brothers, Fred Grady, James Grady; two sisters, Pat Raines and Carolyn Grady.

Survivors include:
His loving wife of twenty-nine years, Karen Grady of Elizabethtown, KY; four children, Jennifer Dusenberry (Ted) of South Carolina, George Grady (Kate) of Mississippi, Jeff Waldron (Jennifer) of Virginia, Craig Waldron of Vine Grove, KY; his mother, Marveline Grady; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Spencer, Tristan, Anissa, Tyrone, Owyn, Brice, Hadley, Harper; one great grandson, Lucas; and a host extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, November 15, 2021 and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral Services for Mr. Grady will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday,  November 16, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
