George Henry Thompson Jr. of Elizabethtown Kentucky was born June 30th, 1965, and departed this life on December 15th, 2024. George was the eldest of two sons born to George Henry Thompson Sr. and Anita Carol (Dixon) Thompson of Elizabethtown Kentucky.

George accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Buffalo First Baptist Church in Buffalo Kentucky. He loved cars, barbecuing, cooking and just living life to the fullest. He worked at Modern Plating Corporation for 24 years where all cherished his camaraderie.

George was preceded in death by his father, George Henry Thompson Sr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents. George leaves his mother, Anita Carol Thompson, brother, Jason Carl Thompson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, and many friends to cherish his life and memory.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Thompson will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.
