Georgia Margaret (Harper) Morris

Georgia Margaret Morris, 94, of Lexington and formerly of Hardin County, KY passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Willows at Fritz Farm Nursing Facility, Lexington, KY.

Mrs. Morris was a member of Vine Grove Baptist Church and Immanuel Baptist Church, Lexington, KY. She was also a member of the Longview Homemakers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Louis Morris; one son, Michael Morris; and her parents, John & Jane Hager Harper.

Survivors include:
One daughter, Kay Riggins of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Todd Morris & his wife, Diane of Buffalo, KY, Kim Pope & her husband, Michael of Nicholasville, KY, Steven Morris & his wife, Jina of Columbus, SC, Jennifer Morris of Columbia, SC; five great grandchildren; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2020 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2020 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Ron Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at the Garnettsville Cemetery.
