Gerline R. (Hunter) Valentine

Gerline Rebecca Valentine (Geri/Tuta) was born on October 3rd, 1944, to Arthur Eugene Hunter and Edith Eunice Stewart in Hart Co., KY. She departed this life on September 22nd, 2020 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY.

Gerline worked 20+ years for E-town Sportswear as factory employee. As well as frequently attending church & aiding in church endeavors. She could often be found running around town, searching for the next great deal.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Houston, J.C., Bobby Joe; a sister, Lauretta; and her husband of 40 years, Herman  R. Valentine.
She leaves behind a son, Ray (Celina); two grandchildren, Jasmine, Rayden; as well as numerous nieces & nephews to cherish and celebrate her life & legacy.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Valentine will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
