Heather Renee Franks, 38, of Rineyville, KY, passed away prematurely on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 23:49 at the U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She cherished life and her children more than anything in this world. As a devoted and valued team member to many at Bluegrass Cellular and Tuvli, she brought light into the lives of everyone she knew. Heather's affection for teal and the retro era was well-known, and her love for music was undeniable. She possessed a distinctly unique personality and was naturally drawn to things that piqued her curiosity.

Mrs. Franks is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Franks; one daughter, Chloe Cockriel; one son, Brentley Cockriel; their father, Timothy Cockriel; one bonus daughter, Kristalyn Oakes; her precious fur-baby CoCo Rose; her mother, Norma Mouldin; her mother in-law, Debbie Vance; one sister, Rebecca Hay; one brother, Jeremy Mouldin; wonderful nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as her own, Emma Grace, Adalina Mouldin, Aidan Mouldin; and a host of many wonderful and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and childhood and lifelong friends. 

She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Irene Joyce Effner and her mother in-law, Debra Franks

The family kindly requests that black not be worn; blues, teals, and greys are preferred, if possible, in tribute to her.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:45 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Franks will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend her reception celebrating her life, immediately following the burial service at Smith’s Crossing in Rineyville, Ky
