Helen Carol "Dinky" (Cowley) Adams

Helen Carol “Dinky” Adams, 65, of Rineyville, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita (Byerly) Cowley, her father, James Cowley, her brother, Wayne Cowley, her sister, Marilyn “Sissy” (Cowley) Edmondson, and her father-in-law, John W. Adams II.

“Dinky” is survived by her husband of 47 years, John W. Adams III; mother-in-law Nancy Adams; daughters Emily (Adams) Stobbe, and Leslie (Adams) Cerniglia; her son Travis Adams; three brothers, Ralph Cowley, Steve Cowley, and Tim Cowley; four sisters, Margaret “Ree” (Cowley) Davis, Janet Cowley, Sherry (Cowley) Vivaldi, and Terry Cowley; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Brigid’s Catholic Church on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 10:00AM. Burial to follow at Saint Brigid’s Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the Saint Brigid’s KC Hall following the burial service.
