Helen Louise Vanoy, 92, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at her residence with her family by her side.

Mrs. Vanoy was a loving mother and grandmother.  She loved being called GG MA, watching her soap operas, and talking to her sister, Kat, on the phone.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vanoy; a son, James Ralph Vanoy; five brothers, Fred Scott, Buddy Scott, Mitchell Scott, Dallas Scott Jr. and Gary Lee Scott; and one sister, Hazel Wall.

She is survived by a daughter, Freda Jenkins and her husband, David; four grandchildren, Aaron Nall, Jason Vanoy and his wife, Cherye, James Vanoy and his wife Ashley, Amara Callison and her husband, Ryan; three great grandchildren, Evan Vanoy, Blake Vanoy and Piper Callison; one sister, Katherine Stafford; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vanoy will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.  Burial will be private.
