Mr. James Yaw Owusu Sr. entered this world on 02 June, 1946 as a native son of the Motherland - Ghana, West Africa. He departed this world on 09 September, 2024. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and he truly lived a life of generosity. He was a beloved son, brother, husband and father.

He was preceded in his passing by his parents. Mr. Kojo Fordwor and Madam Yaa Kune.

He is survived by his loving wife and mother of his children, Mrs. Sherrill Owusu and his beloved sons, Mr. Kevin McGee, Mr. Emmanuel Owusu, Mr. James Owusu Jr. and many friends and family who were blessed to know him and share time with him.

Mr. Owusu was a one-of-a-kind gentleman who went out of his way to help others.

His life served as a true testament of Proverbs 11:24-25: “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.” Mr. James Yaw Owusu Sr. will forever remain one of the richest men to grace this life and the afterlife. He was wealthy in the ways that counted. He was abundant in faith, in generosity, hope, and in love. May his spirit rest in eternal peace. We loved you then, we love you now and we will always love you.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 11, 2024 at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
