James "Chubsy" Ray

James R. “Chubsy” Ray, 79, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the Hardinsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Ray was retired from Civil Service, Fort Knox, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James N. Ray & Ada Scheible Ray Harper.

Survivors include:
His loving wife of forty-nine years, Jill Ray; two daughters, Jennifer Larimer, Julie Ray; three grandchildren, Austin Comstock, Rayann Larimer, Jayden Wickliffe; two sisters, Phyllis Mitchell (Mitch), Sherry Harper Fast; one brother, Charlie Harper (Mouse); and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, June 11, 2021 and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Ray will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
