Jennifer Leighann Smith, 54, of Mount Washington, KY passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Louisville,KY.

Jennifer's spirit of caring for others was a testament to the beauty that one life can bring into this world. Her love for shopping was more than a pastime; it was a way she connected with others and shared her zest for life.

Ms. Smith is survived by two children, Kirstin Brooke Smith and Andrew Smith; two siblings, Trevor Votteler (Ginny) and Holly Coomer (Steve); five grandchildren, Aliyanna,Tristin, Amelia, Azriel, and Angelo; two nephews, Hunter Votteler and Noah Allen; one niece, Jordan Prudhomme; a beloved best friend, Tammy Reece; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Ms. Smith will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.
