Jerry Bell

Jerry Lee Bell, Sr., age 76, a man known for his faith, selflessness, and friendly demeanor, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2023, in his hometown of Radcliff, Kentucky. Born on Sunday, June 15, 1947, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Jerry lived a life filled with purpose, joy, and service to others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee & Mabel Louise Pearman Bell, and a niece, Jennifer Arnett.

Jerry's legacy will be carried forward by his four sons, Jerry Lee Bell, Jr., Aaron Bell (Courtney), Andy Bell, and William Bell (Jessica). His four grandchildren, Virginia Taylor, Sophia Bell, Haylie Bell, and Grayson Bell, will remember their grandfather as a man who lived by example, showing them the importance of faith, family, and service to others. Jerry is also survived by his siblings, Phyllis Arnett and Bobby Bell, a niece, Rebecca Arnett, two nephews, Wyland Bell and Riley Bell; and a host of extended family & friends.

Jerry was a man of many talents and passions. He was an electrician by trade, but his true calling was serving as the pastor of The Refuge Church in Radcliff, Kentucky. Jerry's faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he dedicated many years to guiding and supporting his congregation. His work at The Refuge Church was a testament to his commitment to his faith and community.

Beyond his professional life, Jerry was a man of many interests and hobbies. He was known as "coach" because of the many years he spent coaching little league baseball. His love for the sport was only surpassed by his appreciation for the children he coached. Jerry was also a drummer, a talent that added rhythm and joy to his life and the lives of those around him. But above all, his priorities in life were the Lord and his family. His faith was unwavering, and his love for his family was limitless.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 21, 2023 and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, September 22, 2023 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Bell will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 22, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY
