Joseph Wayne Espinoza, 69, of Rineyville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at his residence.
Joe's academic journey was marked by excellence. He earned his master's degree in mathematics, a subject that not only challenged him but also sparked his lifelong passion for teaching. Joseph's profound understanding of mathematics and his innate ability to simplify complex concepts led him to a fulfilling career as an educator at Central Hardin High School. His hands were skilled in the art of woodworking, a hobby through which he crafted numerous quality pieces. He was also an avid gardener and was known for his "grandpa jokes” but most of all he enjoyed his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Orlinda Espinoza; and one sister, Marie.
Mr. Espinoza is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Espinoza; two children, Shelly Franklin & her husband, Steven, Sandra Cooke; seven grandchildren, Logan Franklin & his fiance, Courtney Stewart, Alexa Franklin, Haley Mantious, Tyler Mantious, Aaron Cooke Jr, Brice Cooke, AJ Arevall; three siblings, Diego Espinoza & his wife, Ida, Frank Ezpinoza, Manuel Espinoza & his wife, Vivian; and a host of extended family & friends.
Cremation was chosen by the family.
