Joseph Lancaster Obituary

Joseph A. Lancaster, 70, of Flaherty, KY passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Hardinsburg Nursing & Rehab.

Mr. Lancaster was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war having served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thaddeus & Clara Frances Lancaster; two brothers, James T. Lancaster, George Lancaster; and one sister, Betty Robinson.

Survivors include:
One daughter, Amy; one brother, Charles Pat Lancaster; three sisters, Mary Alma Whelan, Frances Bradley, Margaret Robbins; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Lancaster will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY with Rev. Jeff Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
