Joshua D. Williams

Joshua Douglas Williams, 21, Radcliff, KY passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020.

Mr. Williams was baptized in Jesus name at the age of seven by his grandfather, Pastor Lucious C. Simmons. At the age of fourteen he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. In 2018, Mr. Williams graduated with a diploma from Job Corps where he majored in cement/masonry. Some of his hobbies include writing music & poetry, cooking, and spending time with family & friends.

Mr. Williams was a highly intelligent, loving, kind, genuine person who supported everyone in his life. He was very loyal to those who were close to him. He was also blessed to have several mentors who assisted him with navigating through life's challenges.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pastor Lucious C. Simmons; and a great-grandmother, Joyce Jones.

Survivors include:
His mother, Marcia Williams of Vine Grove, KY; his father, Doug Williams; two sisters, Mariah Williams of Louisville, KY, Cierra Seals of Vine Grove, KY; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Simmons of O’Fallon, IL; paternal grandmother, Angela Burrows of Belleville, IL; godmothers, Mary A. Phipps of O'Fallon, IL, Dena Simmons of Vine Grove, KY, guardians, Pastor Danny & Marrianna Varnadore of Lighthouse  Apostolic Faith Church of Brandenburg in Vine Grove, KY  and several extended family members that include aunts, uncles, cousins; as well as many friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY

A Celebration of Life  memorial service for Mr. Williams will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Pastor Danny Varnadore officiating.

Due to CDC regulations, strict attendance limits will be implemented and enforced for all gatherings. All who plan to attend must text your first and last name to 314-643-9174. Further instructions will be distributed at a later date.
