Obituary

Kayley Nicole Sims DeRuiter, 34, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Lexington, KY.

Mrs. DeRuiter was a 2006 graduate of Meade County High School. She was also a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

Survivors include:
Her loving husband of twelve years, Jonathan DeRuiter; two sons, Weston DeRuiter, Alec DeRuiter; her parents, Ronnie & Diane Sims; two sisters, Joni Donnelly, Autumn McCarty; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mrs. DeRuiter at 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
