Kenneth David Mullins Sr.

Kenneth David Mullins Sr., 71, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Kenneth, better known as Kenny, worked as a manager at Don’s Lumber in Vine Grove for 15 years. Prior to that, he worked for ten years as an Assistant Manager at Lowe’s in Elizabethtown. When Kenny wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and fishing. He was a devoted man of God and an avid UK sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Henry” and Virgie Mullins, and a sister, Betty Ridenour.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy; two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Jennifer) of Vine Grove, KY, Travis (Cherie) of Guston, KY, and one daughter, Shannon Peoples (Bobby) of Boiling Springs, SC; Five grandchildren, Jayla Abell (Brian), Emily Mullins Lotter (Richard), Cody Mullins, Nicholas Mullins, and Malakai Peoples; Three great grandchildren, Iris, Ellie, and Edris; Two brothers, William “Bill” Mullins, Sam (Kathy) Mullins; Two sisters, Jean Phelps and Lavenia Mullins; several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen by the family. At Kenny’s request, there will be no services.
