Bok Soon "Kim" Rinck, 85, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Radcliff, KY passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, with family by her side, holding her hand.
Kim was born April 5, 1940 and passed away January 23, 2026. She was a native of Korea but was very proud of her American citizenship.
Kim found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, playing poker, the color purple, crocheting, watching old westerns, listening to classic country and Korean music. Kim loved Jesus, attending church, and she treasured all moments spent with her family. Her selfless nature knew no bounds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Rinck. Her best friend, Michiko "Mickey" Strohm. A bonus son, Aaron "Eddie" Singleton.
She is survived by her daughter, Toshie Singleton Murrell (Charles Hinckley); her granddaughter, Melanie (Ray) Krebs; her great grandchildren, Taylor (Korie), Blake, Caleb, Landon, Michael; her great-great grandson Kobie; and Allen (Lisa) Singleton, Sharon (Paul) Cook, Helen (Robert) Klenk, Nancy Hubert whom she nurtured and mothered and called her "kids." A whole host of family and friends who lovingly called her Grandma Kim or Ms. Kim. Last, but not least, her precious poodle, "Emily."
She was known for her strength and kindness. She was a giver, fun and funny.
She always said that she had the best life and was so happy and lucky to have loved and been loved by her friends and our family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Kim will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. A private, family burial will be held at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
