Laverne Allen Obituary

Laverne Allen, 86, of Guston, KY passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mrs. Allen was a member of Big Spring Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Allen; two sons, Maurice Allen, and Stanley Allen.

Survivors include:
Four children, Violet Hickerson & her husband, Jeff, Phyllis Williams & husband, Harold, Carl Allen & his wife, Tammy, Angie Sorenson & her husband, Scott; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Farrow, Roy Farrow; one sister, Julia Nix; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Mark Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Spring Baptist Church cemetery.
