Lee Cornett Obituary

Han Yi Cornett (also known by those close to her as “Lee”), 84, of Radcliff, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother and left behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and generosity that touched everyone who knew her. Born on September 15, 1941 in South Korea, Han Yi settled in Radcliff, Kentucky, carrying with her the resilience, strength, and love that defined her life.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Harold Cornett, with whom she shared a long life of partnership and family.

Han Yi lived her days with joy in simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, grabbing a meal at Mr. Gatti’s, chatting with friends at Sam’s Club, and staying active at Planet Fitness—where she proudly proved that age was only a number. Most of all, she loved cooking for her family and neighbors. Her egg rolls, shared generously and always made with love, were famous in the community and will be forever remembered.

She is survived by her daughters Mison Anderson and Patricia Cornett (Kyle Hopkins); her son Samuel Cornett; and her cherished granddaughters Chloe Anderson and Haley Beam (Benjamin). Her family will carry forward her kindness, strength, and the many traditions she created.

Per her request, no services will be held. In honor of her giving spirit, friends and family are asked to consider donating to either of the causes she held close to her heart:
