Leslie Gene Hughes

SGM (RET) Leslie Gene Hughes, 67, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 his residence.

Mr. Hughes was retired from the United States Army. His service during the Gulf War epitomized his valor and his dedication to the cause of freedom.

He survived by his wife of 41 years, Leva L. Hughes; three children, Marie Murphy, Eugene Thomas, Amber Hughes; two grandchildren, Jason Murphy, Abel Thomas; four siblings, Terri Hughes, David Hughes, Robbie Hughes, Gregg Hughes; and a host of extended family friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
