Loretta (Young) Sexton Obituary
Loretta Y. Sexton, 79, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at her residence.
Loretta found daily comfort and guidance in reading her Bible. She also enjoyed watching Andy Griffith, a pastime that brought her enjoyment.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donnie Sexton.
She is survived by four children, Anthony Young, Linda Clark (David), Mary Ann Davidson (Tommy), Donnie Sexton, Jr; seven grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2026 and from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sexton will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
