Lori Ann (Cook) Broughton, 60, of Shepherdsville, KY went to be with the lord on  Tuesday February 3, 2026 at her home surrounded by her familty.

Born November 10, 1965 in Dekalb county, TN. Lori's passion for life was evident in her radiant smile and infectious laughter, which brought light into every room she entered.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Allan Clay Cook.

Mrs. Broughton is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kennth Broughton Jr; two sons, John Madrid (Corri), Kenneth Broughton III (Crystal); her parents, Doug & Janie Cook, eight grandchildren; a brother, Derek; two sisters Donna, Janet; and a host of family & friends that will truly miss her.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026 and from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Broughton will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Irvington, KY.
