Margrit Johanna (Steer) Hildebrandt

Margrit Johanna Hildebrandt, 83, of Radcliff, KY passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY. 

The life and marriage with love, helping and understanding each other for 61 years of marriage to Hans Hildebrandt has come to an end on this earth for Mrs. Margrit Hildebrandt. She was my Army wife, best friend, lover, and confidant to the end. Hope you like the flowers at our table in remembrance of you! May GOD embrace you and reignite that spirit meeting with your loved ones in the heaven above!! Until we meet again with heavenly help!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erna & Johannes Steer.

Mrs. Margrit Hildebrandt is survived by her husband, Hans Hildebrandt; her three children, Robert, Christine, Thomas Hildebrandt; seven grandchildren, Corey Hildebrandt, Tristan Hildebrandt, Zoey Hildebrandt, Brian Leitner, Brittany Leitner, Philipp Park, Sebastian Park; two great grandchildren, Jade Hildebrandt, Laela Leitner; and a host of extended family & friends.  

Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 and from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hildebrandt will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.

A bereavement reception will follow at 2:30PM, at the Colvin Community Center, 230 Freedoms Way, Radcliff, KY 40160 (located behind the police station in Radcliff KY).
