Maria Taitague Escalera, 88, of Radcliff, KY passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inocencio & Candida Taitague; one daughter, Doris T. Escalera; her mother-in-law & father-in-law, Jose & Tomasa Escalera; two sisters & brother-in-laws, Ana T & Manuel Quintanilla,  Delfina & Jupeter Barao; one brother & sister-in-law, Jose & Lisa Taitague

Survivors include:
Her husband, Eduardo A. Escalera; nine children, Jose and his wife, Annie, John and his wife, Sue, Vivian & her husband, Walter, Gloria & her husband, Tony, Elizabeth & her husband, Martin, Elveria & her husband, Ronnie; Alice & her husband, John, Jesse & his wife, Cathy, James & his wife, Carmen; several grandchildren; great-grand children and great-great grandchild; nieces & nephews, Ofin & Pedro Esteves, Benny & Marie Taitague, Rosita & David Reyes, Dot & Felix Mansapit, Anthony & Lynn Taitague, Carmen & Frank Tenorio Tommy & Karen Quintanilla, Tita & John Acquiningoc, Ankie & Ruth Quintanilla, Bike & Marie Quintanilla, Annie & Joe Santos, Manning & Joyce Quintanilla, Ofin & Ernie Redmond, Henry Quintanilla, Bobby & Marie Quintanilla, Lillian Quintanilla, David & Loretta Quintanilla, Rosalind & Omar Hernandez, Michael & Julie Quintanilla, Roy Quintanilla, Peter Boy Quintanilla, Bill Taitague, Anita & James Chen, Diana Taitague, Clifford Taitague.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Deacon Franco Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Fort Knox, KY.
