Mathilda Theresa “Tilli” Bogard, 72, of Guston, KY passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Bogard was a member of Buck Grove Baptist Church, Ekron, KY. She was born and raised in South Africa where her passion for helping others led her to a distinguished career in pharmacy. She proudly owned and operated her own pharmacy and later served as a government pharmacist in South Africa, where her warm demeanor was greatly valued. Tilli's journey eventually brought her to Radcliff, KY, where she continued her profession as a pharmacist with both Rite Aid and Walgreens. Tilli was also a talented craftswoman who found joy in crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harry Lee Bogard; three children, Jan Gert New (Christelle), Hesmire Nel, Wilhelm Nel; four grandchildren, Daniell, Eben, Jannu, Lara; two brothers, Barend Christoffel Janse Van Rensburg, Ignatius Janes Van Rensburg; and a host of extended family & friends.

Cremation was chosen by the family.
