Matthew Ray Probus

Matthew Ray Probus, 36, of New Haven, KY passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas & Mary Ann Probus; and a brother, Donald Ray Lee, Jr.

Matthew is survived by two sisters, Michelle Lee, Jennifer Castleman; his grandmother, Ursula Deutsch; three aunts, Shirley Bittinger, Cathy Campbell, Judy Skaggs; three uncles, Walter Deutsch, Wayne Deutsch, Shelby Deutsch; two nieces, Michelle, Jasmine; three nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Joseph; one cousin, Kim Sulzer; and a host of extended family, many cousins & loving friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday, June 2, 2025 and from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Probus will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY Pastor Ernie Bagley officiating. Burial will follow at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
