Melissa Ann Harrison

Melissa Ann Harrison, 37, of Vine Grove, KY passed away peacefully February 2, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.
 
Melissa was born in Tell City, IN on June 5, 1983. She moved to Chicago with her family earlier in life, and then she later relocated to Radcliff, KY. Melissa was a loving soul, everybody who knew her or worked with her fell in love with her and her upbeat personality. She loved to help people, which led her to the field of pharmacy and working at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY. Even during her passing, Melissa was still able to help several people thru her organ donation.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Violet Howell; Mother-in-law, Cindy Dyer; and her father, Robert Harrison

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Leonard Dyer; two sons, Dawson Dyer, Tyler Dyer; her mother, Gloria Harrison (Norman Jordan); four sisters, Rebecca (Paul) McBride of Campti, La; Christina Jordan of Loves Park IL; Ashley Harrison of Machesney Park IL; Nicole Dixon of Chicago; two brothers, William “Billy” Smith of Chicago, Sammy Smith of Rockford IL; several nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
