Miguel Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez, 94, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at his residence.  

Mr. Gonzalez was a veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of the Purple Heart having served in the United States Army. Beyond his professional pursuits, Miguel was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Some of his hobbies include listening to music, photography, painting but one of his most endearing and unique hobbies was collecting sea shells.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Gonzalez; and a son, Erik Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by one son, Orlando Gonzalez & his wife, Francelia Lopez; three grandchildren, Erik Gonzalez, Alexis Gonzalez (Elizabeth Grant), Kristina Petty (Nolan); one great grandchild, Colter Petty; a sister, Gloria Gonzalez; and a host of extended family & friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
