Mike Allen

Michael “Mike” Allen, 77, of Big Spring, KY passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his residence.  

Mr. Allen was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing,

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Cole-Allen; a daughter, Joan Vega; and his mother, Geneva Hager.

Mr. Allen is survived by three children, Daryl Ann Schofield, Kristie Allen, Donnie Allen; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 sisters; 1 brother; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

In celebrating Mike's life, the family is requesting that no flowers be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you plant a tree in his memory or just give the family a sympathy card at the visitation.
