Nichelle A. Green, 32, of Radcliff, KY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in San Diego, California less than a month before her 33rd birthday on November 21st.

Nichelle was a proud graduate of North Hardin High School, Class of 2010, who went on to pursue her studies at the University of San Diego. She was an incredibly intelligent, beautiful, and free-spirited soul who lived her life with resilience and a zest for adventure.

Nichelle faced life with a prosthetic leg, but she never allowed her disability to define her. Disability was not a word in her vocabulary. Her courage and determination were evident in everything she did, whether she was pursuing her passions or simply enjoying the small moments in life.

She had a deep love for poetry and painting which allowed her to express her creativity and unique perspective. Nichelle loved the beach, where she found solace and peace. She mentioned wanting to travel the U.S., exploring endless destinations with no set plans or course—her free-spirited nature was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Nichelle's memory will forever be cherished by her parents, Larry W. Green Jr. and Kendrea Wiggins; her bonus mother, Heather Green; her grandparents, Delmira Shelton (Ronald) and bonus grandfather, Michael Morgan; four siblings, Angele’ Morgan, Stefan Green (Maresha) & family, Jeremias Green (Davyne), and Dominique Cochran; as well as her aunts and uncles, Carmen Clarkson (Greg), Diana Gilbert (Tony), Michelle Morgan (Chris Hawkins), Alison Morgan, and Aaron Morgan (Corina) & family. She will also be deeply missed by her special cousins, NaCarra Green & family, Josh Braden (Tiphany) & family, Jalen Braden, Tavion Gilbert, Aaron A. Morgan, Andrew Morgan, Mya Hawkins, Abby Hawkins, Mason Hawkins; her niece and nephews, Damarius Hoskins, Desirae Hoskins, Dahlioan and JaShawn; her close friend, Sophie Swingle; a special teacher/mentor, Renee J. Dennison; and a host of other family and friends whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Larry W. Green Sr., her maternal grandmother, Beverly Mozee, and a bonus grandmother, Marilyn Morgan.

Nichelle will leave behind a legacy of strength, love, and an unwavering belief in the power of living life on her own terms.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024.  Visitation with Family & Friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Chism Family Funeral Home 769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, Kentucky. Pastor Shayne Stockton will officiate starting at 2 p.m.  A balloon and bubble release will follow. The family invites all those who knew and loved Nichelle to join them in honoring her life. Come as you are. Cremation was chosen by family.
