Patsy (Jones) Blair

Isabelle Mary “Patsy” Jones Blair, 81, of Rineyville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, in her home surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

A native of Hardin County, Patsy was the daughter of Allie “Casey” and Isabelle Mary “Belle” McDaniel Jones. She was the youngest of ten children and a 1961 graduate of Rineyville High School.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed memories of her high school days as a cheerleader with her friends, dancing, playing and coaching softball, all things Kentucky Wildcats, gardening, butterflies, hummingbirds, a good crossword puzzle and a cup of coffee, the beach, watching ball games, and old country music.  She was a caretaker at heart.  Most of all she loved her husband, her kids, and her grandchildren and making even the littlest moments special for them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother and best friend, Allie “Bugs” Jones of Rineyville. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ellis “Leon” Blair; two sons, Scott Blair and Ron (Michelle) Blair; one daughter, Leann Blair; four grandchildren, MacKenzie Blair, Caleb Blair, Allie Ann Blair, and Maggie Blair;  a special niece, Jeannette Jones; a special nephew, Jimmy Jones; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, Kentucky, (657 St John Church Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 and from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, Kentucky, (657 St John Church Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, Kentucky, (657 St John Church Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). Internment will follow at St Brigid Cemetery in Vine Grove. Flowers can be sent to Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove, Kentucky.
