Peggi Parks, 69, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Born on Wednesday, February 3, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, Peggi's radiant spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Peggi is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Steve Parks, her daughter, Shelli Thompson, and son-in-law, Dan, and her mother, Leona Bland. She also leaves behind two stepchildren, Holly Hawkins and her husband, Marty, and Andrea Crum and her husband, Ryan. Peggi was a cherished grandmother to her grandson, Duston Kirby, and six step-grandchildren, Raelee, Jordyn, Mason, Claire, Malcolm, and Corine, two great-grandchildren, Hunter Kirby, Sophia Kirby; two brothers, Michael Bland and James T. Bland Jr., along with a host of extended family and friends, will fondly remember the times spent with her.
Peggi was the proud owner of Peggi Parks Cleaning Service, where she not only provided impeccable service. Beyond her professional achievements, Peggi was an active member of the Elizabethtown Women's Club, where she invested her time and resources to make a difference in her community. Her passion for helping the homeless was evident in her tireless efforts to provide support and kindness to those in need.
