Pete Daley

Charles “Pete” Irvin Daley, 75, of Vine Grove, KY, previously of West Point, KY passed peacefully into the arms of God on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin.

After his service in the United States Navy he was employed at General Electric for 32 years, then employed as a security guard for UPS in Elizabethtown for several years and also worked as a delivery driver for Little Caesars in Elizabethtown.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Kathleen Eleanore Daley; his mother, Eula Muss Daley; his father, William Daley Sr., two brothers, William Daley, John Daley; and a much loved nephew, Lloyd Wheatley.

He leaves behind his devoted daughter, Jacqueline Eleanore Collins; his son in law & best friend, Richard Michael Collins; a beautiful granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Hays (Ryan); his much beloved grandson, Devon Charles Vinton; his sisters, Fannie Bowen (Paul), Barbara Powell (Barry); his brothers, Jim Daley (Shirley), Whitson Daley (Mary), Marvin Daley (Theresa), Walter Daley (Jose), and Mark Daley (Tammy). He was also a much loved uncle to many nieces & nephews that he held dear to his heart.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services Mr. Daley will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
