Phouthong Phoutharansy, 66, of Elizabethtwon, KY passed away the Monday, June 30, 2025 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nou Deang, Kong Seng Phoutharansy, and brother Sounthala “Soun” Phoutharansy.

Survivors include stepson, Soutsakhone “Gai” Sysouvong; longtime fiancé Cleta Good; his many siblings, nieces, and nephews; Tyler Phoutharansy, Chloe Phoutharansy; Phouvanh (Thong Kham)  Phoutharansy of Georgia, Kevin Phoutharansy, John Phoutharansy; Phouvieng (Amy) Phoutharansy of Rineyville, Dawn Williams, Vieng Jr. Phoutharansy, Josh Phoutharansy, Michael Phoutharansy; Phouvong Phoutharansy of Elizabethtown, Daniel Phoutharansy; Phoukhong (Savivanh) Phoutharansy of California, Melanie May Phoutharansy; Phoukhao (Rassamy) Phoutharansy of Vine Grove, Phousaming Phoutharansy, Deeanna Phoutharansy, Ashli Phoutharansy, Phoulitat Phoutharansy; Ketsana (Ra) Phoutharansy of Elizabethtown, Brandon Phoutharansy, Kesada Phoutharansy-Medina, Kesarin Phoutharansy; Phouwa (Vyvonne) Phoutharansy of Tennessee, Alexandra Lyons, Ava Phoutharansy; Phouvang (Soukdaovone) Phanbandith of Tennessee, Sonny Phanbandith, Tiffany Phanbandith, Sendy Phanbandith; Phouveune (Lamngeun) Lamngeun of Tennessee, Varly Lamngeun, Leslie Scales; Phanomphone (Alicia) Phoutharansy of Radcliff, Lucas Phoutharansy, Aubree Phoutharansy; Soutsada (Nouphone) Bouakham of Tennessee, Vilayvanh Saysoukha, Phetsada Saysoukha, Gingdao Bouakham, Bountao Bouakham; Joseph (Rebecca) Cecil of Elizabethtown; Sonesack Ramangkoune (Lena) of Vine Grove; Singha Kaewkambong of Radcliff; his aunt Bouaphan Pinich of Vine Grove; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025 and from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Poutharansy will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
