Priscilla Jean (Hibberd) Allender

Priscilla Jean Allender, 79, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

Mrs. Allender was a member of the United Memorial Methodist Church. Jeannie, alongside her husband, had managed a group home, extending their gift of care to those in need of support and a loving environment. She was also a retired educator whose passion for teaching was evident in her unwavering commitment to her students.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allender.

Survivors include one son, John Allender & his wife, Dawn; four grandchildren, William Allender, Wyatt Long, Savannah Flener, JD Long; one sister, Sherry Szarka; one brother, John Lance Hibberd; and a host of extended family & friends.

Cremation was chosen by the family and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
