Reynold Moore

Reynold Moore, 90, of Radcliff, KY passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Moore was a member of Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY.

SGM (RET) Moore Enlisted in the United States Army at a young age and quickly distinguished himself as a soldier of remarkable bravery. His two tours during the Vietnam War were marked by acts of valor that earned him the prestigious Purple Heart, among other decorations.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Moore; a daughter, Penny Conyers; and a grandson, Brian Hale.

Mr. Moore is survived by one daughter, Katy Day & her husband, Gary; four grandchildren, Dustin Quinteros whom he helped raise, Virgil Whitaker, Danny Whitaker, Eugenia Thomas; six great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; and a host of church family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY with Pastor Denver Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
