Richard Strauss

Richard Strauss, 90, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin.

Richard's passion for life was evident in his pursuits as an avid HAM Radio operator & a skilled gunsmith but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.

He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Karl Strauss; and a sister, Liese Lotte ‘Rose’ Mowry.

Mr. Strauss is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ursula Strauss; one daughter, Sabrina Strauss Morgan (Mike); four grandchildren, Kaiden, Isaac, Nicole, Gigi; five great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Alisa Strauss; one sister, Gisela Angarer; and a host of extended family in Germany.

Cremation was chosen by the family.
