Robert M. “Bobby G” Gonzales, 88, of Radcliff, KY passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Gonzales was a proud veteran of the United States Army and he was retired from the State of California. He was a respected member of American Legion Post 113 in Elizabethtown, KY, and VFW Post 10281 in Vine Grove, KY.

As the drummer for Rivercity Express, he infused each performance with a sense of excitement and a love for music that was contagious. His beats were the heartbeat of the band, and his enthusiasm for music brought joy to audiences far and wide. Karaoke and dancing were among Robert's favorite pastimes, activities through which he expressed his zest for life and brought smiles to the faces of friends and strangers alike.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Gonzales; a son, Bryon Butler; grandchildren, Erin Camp, Savanna Camp, Abbygayle Kimble, and Hunter Butler; and a sister, Sylvia Gonzales; and a host of extended family & friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
