Robert "Bob" Goben

SFC (RET) Robert “Bob” Goben, 69, of Radcliff, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Goben was retired from the United States Army, and a lifetime member of the 1st Calvary Division Alumni Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, music & working with computers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Connie Goben; two brothers, William “Bill” Goben, Donald Goben; a brother-in-law, Ed Turner.

Survivors include: His loving wife of 10 years, Marie Dockery-Goben; one son, 2nd Lieutenant WVNG Fred A. Rice (Raquel); one sister, Betty Goben Turner; two brothers, David Goben, James Goben; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM, Monday, June 20, 2022 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Goben will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, June 20, 2022 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
