Floyd Roger Widmer, Jr, 65, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin.

An avid fisherman, Roger found peace at the lake, rod in hand, waiting patiently for the day's catch. His passion for fishing was only matched by his love for all things outdoors.

He is survived by three children, Kelley Widmer, David Widmer, Jeneah Widmer; five grandchildren; his mother, Roseailie Morales; three siblings, Donna Widmer, James Widmer, Steven Widmer; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Monday, April 15, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Widmer will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 15,  2024 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the Vine Grove Cemetery.
