Ronald Doughty

Ronald Doughty, 86, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was born in Cobden, Illinois in Happy Holler to the late Benjamin & Marie Doughty.

Mr. Doughty was a loving husband, father & grandfather. He was proudly retired from the United States Navy. Ronald had a knack for songwriting, poetry, and strumming his guitar.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Grace Lombardo Doughty; four daughters, Elaine Lopkoff (Bill), Teresa Ware (Jim), Donna Booker (Chris), Carol Puckett (Greg); ten grandchildren, Christina, Lisa, Christopher, Ronnie, Brandy, Brittany, Amanda, Nichole, Brianna, Levi; twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY with Brother Ben Underhill officiating.
