Ronald Emerson Gastrock Jr, 74, Vine Grove, KY passed away, Saturday, February 1, 2025 in Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Gastrock’s dedication to his work was evident in his impressive 41-year tenure at the United States Department of Agriculture, where he diligently served in the mailroom. He was also a lifelong sports enthusiast, Ron's love for the Washington Redskins was more than just a pastime; it was a testament to his unwavering loyalty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald E. & Freda Bessie Gastrock.

He is survived by one sister, Patricia Ann Deener; a niece, Tammy Ashby (Nelson), two nephews, Terry Deener (Robbin) and Timmy Deener (Mary); and a host of grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews as well as extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Burial will be at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
