Rondal Childress Obituary

MSG (RET) Rondal A. “Ron” Childress, 65, of Radcliff, KY passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Childress was retired from the United States Army with thirty two years of service and a veteran of Desert Storm. He was also president of North Hardin Babe Ruth Baseball League.

Survivors include:
His loving wife of forty five years, Jean Childress; four children, Jason Childress & his wife, Jatana of Radcliff, KY, Wendy Childress of Louisville, KY, Deborah Pennell of Radcliff, KY, Cynthia Childress of Radcliff, KY; seven grandchildren, Lyric, Deron, Kaytlin, T.J., Jazmin, Mikayla, Bryannah; one great grandchild, Royalty; one brother, Frankie Childress of Dallas, TX; and a host of family friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday and from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Childress will be held at 1:00 PM, July 28, 2020 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will A graveside service with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
