Roy Melvin Scheitlin, Jr.

Roy Melvin Scheitlin, Jr., 81, of Radcliff, KY passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Indian Creek Nursing Facility, Corydon, IN.

SFC (RET) Scheitlin had been a Prisoner of War while serving during the Vietnam War. His memberships include Grace Lutheran Church, Vine Grove, KY and American Legion Post 113, Elizabethtown, KY.

Survivors include:
His wife, Dorothy Scheitlin of Radcliff, KY; three children, Amy Marie Scheitlin, Becky Ann Harrell, Janet Lee Scheitlin; one grandson, Alexander Eugene Harrell; one sister, Mary Lee Moak & her husband, John; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, 398 Knox Avenue, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Scheitlin will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, 398 Knox Avenue, Vine Grove, KY with Rev. Ryan Schneider officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
