Samuel Lee Vasquez, 46, of Louisville, KY passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville, KY.

Sam was an avid fan of the University of Louisville, Racing Louisville and watching soccer but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Brett Joseph Vasquez; his paternal grandparents, Joe & Margaret Vasquez; his maternal grandfather, Virgil L. Pearman; two uncles, Irvin Pearman and Steve Lancaster, all of whom he loved deeply.

Survivors include his loving son, Evan Jackson Vasquez; his parents, Ronald & Mary Vasquez; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Pearman; aunts & uncles who he loved deeply, Nancy Lancaster, Wesley Pearman (Kathy), Donna Zicari (Chuck), Sandy Snyder (Joe), David Pearman (Lisa) and Diane Brandenburg.

He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles and special family members from both the Vasquez & Pearman families, and close friends he loved. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY with Pastor Gary Pearman officiating.
