Scherry (Strickland) Alexander

Scherry Alexander, 74, of Radcliff, KY passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her residence.

Born into a family that valued togetherness and nurtured talents, Scherry embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and enthusiasm. Her home was not just a dwelling but a sanctuary of warmth, where the aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies often welcomed friends and family. Scherry's hands were rarely still, as she poured her heart into sewing and crafting, each stitch and brushstroke a symbol of her devotion to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wylie & Lena Strickland.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stephen “Steve” Alexander; two daughters, Tonia Spradlin (Forest), Kristen Smallwood (David); one son, James Alexander; four grandchildren, Bethany, Noah, Grace, Stephen; one brother, Tom Strickland; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
