Tony Albert Dean

Tony Albert Dean, 82, of formerly of Vine Grove, KY passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his residence in Osceola, IN.

Mr. Dean was retired from the United States Army and the Department of Transportation. He also worked for Glen Turner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marie Boyd Dean; his father, Hollis Dean; his mother, Clara Franklin; two brothers, Robert Cecil Dean and James Vernon Dean.

Mr. Dean is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Jim) Haywald of Osceola IN, Judy Drouin of Harned, KY; one son, James Strevels (Laura) of Dry Ridge KY; one sister, Marilyn Jean Yocum of Lincoln County, KY; six grandchildren, Justin Haywald, Christine Overmyer, Amanda Knight, Christopher Strevels, David Strevels, Eric Strevels; eight great grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, March 27, 2023 and from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Chism Family
Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral service for Mr. Dean will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Dave Campbell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
