Vicki Faye (Herr) McCrary

Vicki Faye McCrary, a resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the age of 70. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, July 8, 1953, Vicki was a beacon of selflessness, gentleness, and love, touching the lives of her family & friends.

Vicki was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Helen Herr, and grew up alongside her four siblings, Marie Wedding, Buddy Herr, Allen Herr, and Christine Stinnett. She shared a deep bond with her family, cherishing the moments of joy, love, and companionship they brought into her life. Vicki was also the devoted wife of the late Troy McCrary, who preceded her in death. Their union was a testament to their enduring love and commitment, and their shared memories continue to live on.

Vicki's legacy is carried on by her loving daughter, Laura Parker, and her husband, Nathan. She was a doting mother, always there to provide warmth, guidance, and support. Vicki's role as a grandmother to Ethan and Vincent Parker was one she cherished deeply. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she took great joy in watching them grow and thrive.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCrary will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the Buck Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Ekron, KY.
