Violet Ann (Tompkins) Hickman

Violet Ann Hickan, 67, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Ms. Hickman’s cherished soul was as vast as the outdoors she adored. Violet's love for the simple pleasures in life, like a calm day out fishing or an evening spent watching old movies, was a testament to her ability to find joy in every moment..

She was preceded in death by a brother, Darrel Kelkites.

Ms. Hickman is survived by her mother, Joyce Rogers; seven siblings, Walter Tompkins, David Kelkites (Marie), Joyce McCarthy, Wayne Murray (Laura), Edward Reiske, Jason Scholfield (Regina), Christopher Rogers; a special niece, Christina Vanderhoff; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
