Wanda Lou Hayes, 55, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Wanda's greatest joy was found in the laughter and stories shared with her family, particularly the cherished moments with her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene & Elizabeth Bruce; six siblings, Michael Bruce, Pamela Davis, Carolyn Hagan, Theresa Roeder, Terry Bruce, Donna Percell.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by her husband, Lonnie Hayes; two children, Ronnie “Bub” Bruce (Millie), Christy “Sis” Wells (John Jr); nine grandchildren, John III, Isabella, Martya, Desiree, Makayla, Brookelynn, Jayden, Ethan, Jaxon; three great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Hazel, Dakota Jr; three siblings, Tina Roeder, Larry Bruce, Gary Bruce; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hayes will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hayes Family Cemetery.
